A prominent grassroots development advocate and major aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly seat representing Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1, Hon. Faysol Ajibade Dawud Oluwakemi, has paid a courtesy visit to a respected All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in the constituency, Hon. Saheed Wale Oriade.

The visit, which took place in a calm and serene environment, was aimed at strengthening progressive engagement and discussing the growth and development of Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1.
According to a social media post by Hon. Faysol Oluwakemi, the meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to exchange ideas on sustainable development, effective representation, and inclusive governance at the grassroots level.
Hon. Faysol Oluwakemi used the occasion to express profound gratitude to Almighty God for the safe release of Hon. Oriade, whom he described as a brother and fellow progressive. He also commended Hon. Oriade’s resilience and courage in standing strong after the traumatic kidnap incident, noting that his recovery is a testament to faith, unity, and collective support.
In his response, Hon. Saheed Wale Oriade appreciated Hon. Faysol Oluwakemi for leveraging his media influence to mobilize public attention and calls to action during the period of his abduction.
He acknowledged that the overwhelming support from party members, stakeholders, and well-meaning Nigerians played a significant role in his quick and safe release.
