The Nongovernmental Organization known as ‘ Shoulders of Support Charitable organization in United State of America(USA) has doled out cash and food items to widows in Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State.
The presentation of bread, Garri and cash to three hundred(300) widows in the ancient town of Okeho, took place on Saturday, 14th September, 2024 at Okeho Town hall.
The Managing Director, Olofin Online Radio, Comrade Adebowale Okelola who stood in gap for the sponsors, presented food items to one hundred and fifty(150) widows, and while another one hundred and fifty (150) widows got cash of twenty five thousand(N25,000) each.
In his opening remark, Okelola disclosed that, Shoulders of Support Charitable organization in USA remains a nongovernmental organization with the sole aim of putting smiles on widows and the less privileged ones in the society.
He added that, the organization had commenced show of generosity to people in Lagos, Ibadan and Ilorin, while the one in Okeho was the first of its kind.
He however asked people to pray for those in the organization, as they decide to reach to people in cash and kinds.
The beneficiaries of food items and cash unanimously prayed for them and also wished them well in their respective engagements.
The epoch making occasion that had appreciable turn out of the beneficiaries, had in attendance of security men, community youths and others respectively.
