The Oyo APC Peace Advocates has lauded a recent reconciliation move within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, describing Senator Teslim Folarin’s visit to the residence of the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, as a significant step toward rebuilding the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to the group, the visit serves as a reminder to party stakeholders that leadership requires rising above personal interests, letting go of past grievances, and prioritizing the collective progress of the APC.
Speaking through its Convener , Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM), the Peace Advocates said Senator Folarin’s gesture reflects genuine commitment to unifying the party’s diverse tendencies.
Adeyoju noted that such moves are essential for positioning the APC to regain strength and electoral relevance in Oyo State.
Peace Advocates also commended both Folarin and Adelabu for demonstrating readines to work together in the interest of the party.
They further praised former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, for her continued efforts and interventions aimed at fostering unity and cooperation among APC leaders.
