The School of Science Okeho, Baptist High School Ilero and Okeho Iganna Grammar School in Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State have gone homes with the cash prizes of 20k, 15k and 10k respectively.
The three schools became winners of the cash prizes at the annual science quiz competition that was organized by Alsalam Geo Mapping Surveying Limited for all public secondary schools in Kajola Local Government.
The educative programme took place on Monday, 11th March, 2024 at ISMOG Community Grammar School Okeho where two(2) representatives each from seventeen(17) Participated.
The organizer of the programme and Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Alsalam Geo Mapping Surveying Limited, Surv. Salaam Isiaq Funso in an exclusive engagement with acrossnigerianews.com disclosed that the annual science quiz competition was a way of contribution to the ancient of Okeho and Kajola as a whole.
He hinted that the programme which took place at his Alma Mater(ISMOG Community Grammar School Okeho was to identify with the school and also to encourage the students on importance of education in one’s life.
He maintained that the cash prizes given to the three best schools and token to all participants came into place a way of appreciating their participation and contributions.
He said the science quiz competition had become an annual programme while all public secondary schools in Kajola LG would be annually taken into consideration for the engagement.
He said that he was a former student of ISMOG Community Grammar School Okeho and pledged to continue to be kind and identify with his Alma Mater.
He however extended appreciation to the programme’s Coordinator and the Principal of Iwa Community Grammar School Ayetoro, Mr Adeyemi Sulola and others whose contributions led to fruition of the engagement.
