The Oyo State Progressive Ex-Parliamentarians Forum has expressed deep shock and profound sadness over the sudden demise of one of its distinguished members, Hon. Abdganny Oseni, popularly known as ‘Ayesoro’.

According to a joint statement signed and made available to acrossnigerianews.com by the Forum, the late Hon. Oseni passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, under circumstances that have left his colleagues and associates devastated, as he reportedly showed no prior signs of illness before his untimely death.
Hon. Abdganny Oseni, who represented Kishi/Olorunsogo State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly during the 2015–2019 political dispensation, was described by his colleagues as a dedicated lawmaker, a grassroots mobilizer, and a passionate advocate for the welfare of his people.
The Forum, in its condolence message, eulogized the late legislator as a man of humility, courage, and uncommon commitment to the progress of Oyo State, noting that his contributions to legislative debates, constituency development, and political mentorship would remain indelible in the state’s democratic history.
The Ex-Parliamentarians further commiserated with the family of the deceased, the people of Kishi and Olorunsogo, and the entire Oke-Ogun zone and APC family, urging them to take solace in the impactful life he lived and the legacy of service he left behind.
They described his death as a colossal loss not only to his immediate community and political associates but also to the broader progressive family in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
While praying for the repose of his soul, the Forum called on God to grant his family, friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
