The National Coordinator, Tijaniyya Grassroots Mobilization And Empowerment Initiative of Nigeria(TIGMEIN), Hon. Sheikh Ahmad Tijani Sanni Auwal has reiterated his commitment to love, oneness and togetherness, as unavoidable antidotes that keep the organization going.
Hon. Sheikh Ahmad Tijani Sanni Auwal who is equally the current Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Kano State has also distanced self from ethnic chauvinism and tribal dichotomy, which are capable of turning the movement apart.
The National Coordinator, made this admonition in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Saturday, 31st August, 2024 while inaugurating the new executives of TIGMEIN in all six states that make Southwest Geo-Political Zone. Sheikh Sanni Auwal noted that he neither sees nor acknowledges himself as Hausa Man, but a patriotic Nigerian who is committed to oneness, unity and togetherness among all members of TIjaniyya across the federation.
He maintained that he is on board as the TIGMEIN National Coordinator with the same zeal and intention of Sheikh Ibrahim Niyass who clearly refrained racial discrimination, superior domination and selfish interest in his life time.
Sheikh Auwal called on all members across the federation to prioritise oneness, love, unity and togetherness as unavoidable antidotes to make TIGMEIN progresses and waxes stronger.
On Majmahu Ahbab Nigeria, with majority of Hausas as executive members had initially originated by northerners in Lagos, with intention to engage in consistent recitation of the glorious Qur’an for the sake of Sheikh Ibrahim Niyass, had been decentralized in order to prevent its earlier position of northern origin.
He however called on all members of TIGMEIN in Southwest to henceforth refrain from activities and deeds that could make their participation in the organization appears sectional.
On aims and objectives of TIGMEIN, the National Coordinator hinted that the organization aside its spiritual purification of members, it is also in place to ensure good condition, general welfare of all members and Muslim Ummah at large.
He added that, the population of the organization across the federation is enough as a strength to make all members get benefits and entitlements.
Sheikh Sanni Awal called on all members to make judicious use of the population strength, so that the purpose that triggers the birth of organization would be be attained and fulfilled.
Sheikh Sanni Auwal reiterated stance on empowerment of members in Southwest without waiting for government, asking them to do that via levy, Maolud Nabiyy congregations and donations among others.
He however charged the newly inaugurated executives across the six states of Southwest to make good use of their respective offices for the benefit of their members.
