Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has been active in public affairs, issuing statements that both celebrate a key political figure and mourn a community leader.

The senator paid tribute to the late Chief (Dr) Amos Adepoju, the Asiwaju of Igboora land, and extended birthday felicitations to Hon. (Dr) Ajibola Muraina.
In a solemn statement, Senator Alli expressed deep sorrow over the death of Chief Amos Adepoju, describing his passing as a monumental loss.Chief Adepoju, who was the father of Rep. Anthony Adepoju, was hailed by Senator Alli as a gem, a father, and a patriotic leader whose life of service remained exemplary.”
Senator Alli recalled Chief Adepoju’s distinguished career, highlighting his significant contributions to public service. Among the key positions he held were:
Rector of The Polytechnic Ibadan, Chairman of 3SC/IICC, Resident Electoral Commissioner in Nasarawa State, Pioneer National Financial Secretary of the PDP, Commissioner at the Board of Immigration, Civil Defence, Correctional and Fire Service respectively.
The senator extended his heartfelt condolences to Rep. Adepoju, the Adepoju family, and the people of Igboora and Ibarapa land, praying for the repose of the departed leader’s soul.
On a more celebratory note, Senator Alli joined a host of family, friends, and associates in honouring Hon. (Dr) Ajibola Muraina on his birthday.
