Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has congratulated Oloye Ismaila Akinade Fijabi, the Aare Alasa Olubadan of Ibadanland, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Friday in Ibadan.
Senator Alli described Oloye Fijabi as a respected elder statesman, a distinguished Ibadan chief and a successful businessman who has continued to contribute immensely to the growth of Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.
The lawmaker said that Fijabi’s life has been one of impact, honour, and unrelenting dedication to the progress of his people.
He acknowledged the remarkable legacy Fijabi established in the socio-cultural landscape of Ibadanland.
Senator Alli said that his 70th birthday was a celebration of a life well lived in service to humanity and promotion of the Yoruba heritage.
He prayed that Almighty Allah continues to bless Oloye Fijabi with good health, renewed strength and greater grace to witness more fruitful years ahead in peace and fulfillment.
