The Executive Director, Rural People Development Initiative(RUPEDIN), Princess Victoria Adetona has enjoined women to stand side-by-side with men in order to enhance the total emancipation of women.
Adetona made this admonition at the grand finale of 5th Isemi-ile Day celebration, which took place on Saturday, November 4 at Baptist Basic School, Isemi-Ile, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State.
The Executive Director of Non-Governmental Organization(RUPEDIN) maintained that the time has come for all women to compete favourably with men in order to showcase their potentials and God’s given talents in leadership and other affairs.

Ilua-born Princess added that, it is high time women stood side-by-side with men on all areas connecting with administration and political leadership.
She said, the right time has come for complete women’s emancipation, so as to free their restrictions to kitchens and playing of second fiddle.
She revealed that, a programme tagged ‘Action Aid Nigeria’ has been structurally designed for women on how they can go about, on attainment of their dreams connecting with aspiration in leadership.
On RUPEDIN, Adetona said the non-governmental organization is basically in place for Traders’ Micro Credit, Girls & Boys’ Empowerment and Women’s Empowerment among others.
She celebrated with sons and daughters of Isemi-Ile over the feasibility of 5th Isemi-ile day, calling on all members of the planning committee to make judicious use of the donations for the development of the ancient town.
She called on all community’s indigenes to come home for investments, which are to develop the town and its inhabitants.
Adetona thanked those who graced the occasion, those who contributed but couldn’t come and others whose participations led to its success.
