Rauf Olaniyan Condoles CCII, Family Over Passing of Olubadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin
Eng. Rauf Olaniyan, former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, has expressed his profound sorrow over the passing of the Olubadan of Ibadan Land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakuleyin.

The news of the monarch’s demise was announced early Monday morning.
Olaniyan extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), and all indigenes of Ibadan Land. He offered prayers for the repose of the monarch’s soul.
In a statement, Olaniyan lauded the late Oba, remarking, “Baba lived a fulfilled life. He was a great Monarch whose short but eventful reign as Olubadan was remarkably marked by peace and tranquility.”
He concluded by praying, “May he be accepted into Paradise.”
