Aseyin of Iseyinland, Oba (Dr) Sefiu Olawale Oyebola, Adeyeri III Ajirotutu the first has embarked on provision of foods that Muslims can take to break their fast after the sunset everyday throughout the 2025 Ramadan period.
According to a source close to the palace of the monarch, Aseyin started feeding the Muslims in various mosques across Iseyin with different foods being taken to different mosques since the first day of the Holy Month in the year 1446.
According to the source, Aseyin will be doing the same thing picking different mosques everyday as beneficiaries of his philanthropic gestures.
When contacted via telephone conversation to confirm the story, the monarch said journalists are free to report only what they see, hear and confirm to be true than spreading fake news.
“What do you expect me to say, that I did this, I did that? No now! Whatever I did, it was personal and as a Muslim, I don’t expect you to encourage people spreading their personal relationship with God,” Aseyin said.
Aseyin however rejoiced with Muslims in Iseyinland as he admonished them to use the grace offered to them by the holy month of Ramadan to pray for oneness, peaceful coexistence and rapid development of Iseyinland.
He prayed onto God to accept all Muslim’s fasting and supplications in the month as acts of Ibadah.
