Urges People’s Collaboration, Prayers, Unity Against Current Economic Crisis
A member of Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju State Constituency, Hon. Dele Adeola has urged constituents to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Seyi Makinde’s led governments.
He opined prayers, collaboration and unity as the only panacea to economic crisis bedeviling the nooks and crannies of the country.
This admonition was part of message that the lawmaker made, while attending Galilee in Iseyin, with the adherents of Christianity on commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Awaye-born Lawmaker said, it became significant that the constituents and general citizens should support the governments at the centre and state level, in order to record notable feats across the sectors.
As economic crisis continue to bite harder, Oyo Lawmaker maintained that, only collaboration, unity of purpose and fervent prayers can end challenges shaking the stability of this country.
He hinted that, this is the crucial period while all regardless of status, religions, political affiliations, ethnicity and other dichotomies should come together on a mission to find the lasting solutions to the problems facing the country.
Hon. Adeola said, he and other honourable colleagues have had common position and united house on need to work together in order to ensure that Governor Makinde’s government records success.
In another vein, Oyo Parliamentarian disclosed that, promotion letters of the primary school teachers will be out this month, noting that everything is in pipeline to ensure that those who are due for promotions are elevated without delay.
Asking all teachers and others to collaborate and give firm support to Governor Seyi Makinde’s government, whom he described as a leader who prioritises the comfort and total wellbeing of the masses.
The Lawmaker reiterated his stance on efficient representation, sponsorship of the needed bills/motions and oversight functions which he affirmed would give rooms for more dividends of democracy.
On occasion of Easter celebration, the Lawmaker enjoined Christians to imbibe the spirit of love, kindness, generosity and openness as practically demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
He said, if pure love was integrated into government and every household, there is every possibility that there would be growth, progress and expansion without limits.
