A renowned Youth Advocate in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. AbdWaasii Ismaheel has refuted circulating rumours linking him to fraudulent job placements and allocation of business spaces at the newly established Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) Temporary Site.

In a public notice made available to acrossnigerianews.com, Ismaheel described the claims that he is collecting CVs or money from individuals under the guise of facilitating employment or business opportunities as completely untrue and misleading.
He expressed concern that some unscrupulous individuals are exploiting the hopes of unsuspecting citizens by collecting money and promising to secure them employment or commercial spaces within the institution. According to him, such acts are fraudulent and capable of tarnishing both his reputation and the credibility of the university.
“I am not involved in such activities. I urge members of the public to be vigilant and avoid falling victim to these fraudsters,” he stated.
Ismaheel emphasized that all legitimate information regarding recruitment, admissions, or allocation of business spaces at FUNATO would be officially communicated through the university’s website and other verified channels, including reputable print and social media platforms.
He further appealed to the public to remain alert and to join hands in exposing those behind the fraudulent schemes. “Let us work together to stop job racketeering and ensure that the integrity of this institution is preserved,” he added.
His clarification comes at a time when reports of employment scams and space allocations are becoming increasingly rampant around public institutions, often leaving victims defrauded of their hard-earned money.
By distancing himself from the false allegations, Ismaheel has reassured the public of his commitment to transparency, accountability, and the genuine progress of FUNATO.
