The Oyo State Progressive Ex-Parliamentarians have expressed deep shock and profound sadness following the sudden death of former Oyo State House of Assembly member, Hon. Kehinde Subair.

Hon. Subair passed away in London on Friday March 14th, under circumstances described as unexpected.
According to reports, he woke in good health and without any apparent symptoms of illness. However, he experienced complications while preparing for morning prayers during the on-going Ramadan fast.
Despite immediate medical attention and being rushed to a hospital, Hon. Subair succumbed to the cold hands of death shortly thereafter.
In a statement to acrossnigerianews.com that is jointly issued by the group’s Chairman, Hon. Bolomope Ibrahim, and Spokesperson, Hon. John Olaleru, the Oyo State Progressive Ex-Parliamentarians conveyed their heartfelt condolences.
The group described the late parliamentarian, who served as Deputy Majority Leader in the 7th Assembly and Majority Leader in the 8th Assembly, as a notable and experienced Parliamentarian whose contributions would not be easily forgotten.
Hon. Subair was further recognized as a core progressive man and Progressive Minded Person who dedicated his life to fostering progress for all.
The ex-parliamentarians expressed their rude shock and devastating sense of loss at his untimely death, noting that he eft without saying goodbye.
Despite his passing, the group emphasized that Hon. Subair’s good works and unforgettable legacy would continue to endure.
They offered prayers for divine comfort and strength for his family, the entire progressive community of Oyo State, and sought Al-janatul Firdaus as his eternal reward.
