The Seriki Fulani, Oyo State Chapter, Alhaji Yakubu Bello has appealed to Governor Seyi Makinde on need for electrification of Km2 Kara Market, upgrade of Nomadic School, construction of palace and rehabilitation of bridge at Oja-Agbe in Iseyin, Iseyin Local Government, Area of the state.

Bello made this appeal at the stakeholders’ consultative meeting on year 2025 Budget held on September 30th at Iseyin Local Government Secretariat.
The Seriki Fulani presented the needs of the entire Fulanis at the stakeholders’ consultative meeting that combined Iseyin/ Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constitutuency.
In his presentation, Bello in his passionate presentation appealed to Governor Makinde on electrification of KM2 Kara Market in Iseyin, noting that the place has become a commercial area of the local government where electricity should be restored for the benefits of people buying, selling and those residing in the area.
Also, the Seriki Fulani enjoined government to include the upgrade of Nomadic School at Oja-Agbe Iseyin in the 2025 budget, reiterating that the upgrade of the academic institution would arise the pupils and students’ interest in education.
As Oliver twist will request for more, he tasked government on construction of beffiting place that would accommodate other Serikis and others, most especially when they need to hold the crucial meetings.
He said, he had no spacious place as a palace which can accommodate his people when the need arises for holding of notable meetings and other engagements that connect with his status.
He equally asked the government to expedite swift action on bridge at Oja-Agbe Iseyin, which water has overflown its outer surface, noting that this ugly development can lead to loss of precious lives if urgent action is not taken.
The meeting had in attendance of top government functionaries like Professor Olanike Adeyemo, Secretary to the State Government, Oyo State, Professor Musibau Babatunde, Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Ojelabi S.A, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, the Aseyin of Iseyinland, the Oniro of OTU, Hon. Rasaq Fadiran, Host/Chairman, Iseyin Local Government, Hon. Mutitala Oyewumi, Chairman, Iwajowa Local government, representatives of Itesiwaju and Kajola Local governments, religious leaders, market women, community leaders and others respectively.
