In fulfilment of promises made on education during the electioneering campaign, Member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Hon. Najeemdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji has distributed note books and mathematical sets to the students of public secondary schools across the four local governments.
The total number of 13,020 books were distributed to all schools in the Federal constituency, while Iseyin LG got 5250 books, Kajola LG received 3570 books, Itesiwaju LG benefited 2310 books and Iwajowa LG secured 1890 books respectively.
The Executive Chairman, Kajola Local Government and host, Hon. Barr Mustapha Akeem Olawale presented the books and Mathematical sets to the beneficiaries at the conference room, Secretariat Complex of the council area on Thursday, 7th November, 2024.
While speaking, Oshine revealed that the distribution of note books to students in the federal constituency was in line with fulfilment of promises made during the electioneering campaign.
He pledged that he shall not hesitate to deliver on the promises that were made then, noting that those promises are debt which must be paid in order to avoid the wrath of God almighty.
He maintained that his deliverables shall be stage by stage, and one after the other in order to meet the demands and requests of the constituents.
Oshine reiterated commitment to fulfilment of promises which were made on education, agriculture and youths’ empowerments among others.
Chief Johnson Ojebiyi, Kajola PDP Chairman hailed the federal lawmaker, for his pragmatic and indefatigable efforts that continue to yield productive results on his current representation.
He said, he had done well on areas of farming, scholarships, solar power, food supply, empowerments and many others, commending him on behalf of the party and tasked not to relent in bringing returns to the constituents.
In his own submission, Kajola Council Boss, Akeem Mustapha lauded the programme and however described it as a multidimensional one that would no doubt benefit teachers, students and parents respectively.
He called on students to face their studies squarely without minding challenges that appear as obstacles on their ways.
Permanent Secretary, who doubles as Inspector of Education, Kajola Zone, Engr Salam described the lawmaker’s programme of education as one that works in tandem with Governor Seyi Makinde, asking him to work more diligently in order to bring more contributions to education across the federal constituency.
Mr Mudasiru SA, Head of Zone tasked students to make judicious use of the books, in order to justify the purpose of distribution.
Among those in attendance were the Federal Lawmaker, The Council Chairman, Education Stakeholders across the federal constituency, Hon. Johnson Ojebiyi, Politicians, Career Officers, Teachers, Students and others respectively.
