Sakirullah Adeola Tijani Asoore has mapped out plans towards the fruition of 1st Qur’anic Memorisation Competition and Annual Ramadan Lecture

He revealed that Ilua-born initiator and Founder of Omo Asoore Foundation in Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State has set to organise 1st Qur’anic Memorisation Competition and Annual Ramadan Lecture which its preliminary stage will kick-off on 2nd March, 2024 at Ilero(Zone1) between 10:00am-1:00pm.
On schedule of programme, Coordinator said the preliminary stage of event will kick-off on 2nd March in Ilero between 10:00am and 1:00pm, while the Semi-Final Stage would be featured on 9th March in Ilua(Zone5) between 2:30pm and 4:30pm.
He added that the Grand Finale of the Qur’anic Competition will take place on 2nd Saturday of Ramadan, at Okeho Town Hall between 10:00am and 12:00pm, as event 2 tagged ‘Annual Ramadan Lecture’ will take place at same venue between 12:30 and 1:30pm with Guest Lecturer, Dr. Lukman Abdul Ganiyy Olowonjaye, Mudeer Ma’adul Lughaat, Igboho will be doing justice to Expansion and Exploration of Faculties; Interacting with Qur’an.
Coordinator maintained that, Omo Asoore Foundation that is aimed at empowering lives and building future, which would run between 2nd March and 2nd Saturday of Ramadan, is a competition which 200 application forms provided for 30 participants, has deadline of 15th February for submission of forms.
He hinted that, certificates of participation would be presented to all participants and prestigious awards also await the Winner, Runners-up, Third Place and consolation prizes for the 4th position respectively.
He said the 5-Man Planning Committee has Ustadh Adam Mustapha Awayewasere as Chairman, and Mr Azeez S.A as Secretary, with terms of reference which centre on organising of well-befitting Qur’anic Memorisation Competition and annual Ramadan lecture that devoid of politics, ethnicity and religion among other sentimental considerations.
