Member of Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Anthony Ogunsola has illuminated the ten(10) wards making Iwajowa State Constituency with solar lights.
The solar items which would enhance the illumination of the constituency were benefited by PDP ward chairmen and leaders who spread across the ten wards making Iwajowa State Constituency.
They all had their solar items at occasion which held on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 at Aiyetoro-ile, to felicitate PDP party members and other affiliated party faithful such as Accord, APC and ZLP respectively.
Among the ward beneficiaries are:
Ward 01 Adewuyi Kehinde, Ward 02 Ajayi Ganiyu, Ward 03 Muibi Rabiu, Ward 04 Raji Sulaimon,Ward 05 Ogundare George, Ward 06 Olatunji Yekini,
Ward 07 Hon. OberanWard 08 Azeez Mumini, Ward 09 Muarina Yakubu and
Ward 10 Tanigbola Semiu respectively.
The Leaders who benefited in
Iganna zone are: Hon. Fashola Wasiu, Chief Michael Adegbite, Baba Adepoju,Hon. Bolarinwa Timothy Olalekan, Alhaji Saka Kareem and
Hon. Paul Ayandipo.
Those in Oke Odo axis of Iwajowa Local Government are:Baba Enoch Adeshina,Ogundare Sunday, Adeniyi Adeboye,Hon. Ojekunle Isac, Chief Sikiru Anibiire, Sikiru Ogunyale and
Hon. Eyinade Rasheed respectively.
In his welcome address, Hon. Ogunsola extended warmest felicitations to all constituents on occasion of new calendar 2024, calling on all regardless of adherence to religions to pray for the greatness of Iwajowa Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
He said the distribution of solar items was to ensure that the communities making the constituency are not in the darkness, sequel to epileptic supply of electricity, calling on all the ten wards’ chairmen and leaders to receive and erect them at strategic places, where their Illumination would serve all and sundry.
He said, “Village Light Up project as part of promises made during electioneering campaign. This is first face. More are coming soon, including constituency projects and empowerments”.
Hon. Ogunsola however called on party members to continue to support and be patient with the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, maintaining that the anticipated dividends of democracy would soon spread across the state.
He urged them to renew their hope this new year, as Nigeria would change for better despite the challenges currently facing the country.
PDP Chairman in Iwajowa Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Fashola showered encomiums on Hon. Ogunsola for his magnanimity and generosity to extend the dividends of democracy to all, calling on party members to throw more weights and unflinching support behind him.
In their separate pieces of advice, Chairman Iwajowa Council Area and the party leaders in persons of Hon. Oyinloye Jelili Adebare, Hon. Tanigbola Saminu and Pa Olonade Usman welcomed all to the get together and wished them journey mercy to their various destinations.
