••••As Council Chair, Muritala Oyewumi, Oyinloye, Fasola, Others Present Copies to Schools’ Representatives
The Lawmaker, representing Iwajowa State Constituency, in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Anthony Oladejo Ogunsola has flagged off distribution of 5,000 exercise books to both private/public primary and secondary school students in all metropolis, making the state constituency.
The epoch making occasion which took place at Community Basic School playing ground Ayetoro-Ile, on Friday, 20th September, had in attendance of creme de la creme in People’s Democratic Party, PDP and other political parties in the council area.
The Council Chairman, Hon. Muritala Abiodun Oyewumi, the ex council chairman, Hon. Abdul Jeleel Oyinloye, the PDP chairman in the local government, Hon. Wasiu Fasola Charity, Reverend Sister Fransisca and others presented copies of the exercise books to all representatives of primary and secondary school students in the local government.
In their separate remarks, Oladejo Ogunsola disclosed that the platform which PDP gave him to represent the constituents of Iwajowa State Constituency had no doubt responsible for his willingness to bring dividends of democracy back to them.
Ayetoro-Ile-born Lawmaker, maintained that the distribution of exercise books to students in the council area was in line with Governor Seyi Makinde’s agenda of free education policy.
He said, he had not forgotten all promises that were made during the electioneering campaign, assuring the constituents that, those promises would be all fulfilled in no distant future.
Ogunsola hailed Governor Seyi Makinde for his purposeful leadership and laudable administration, which keeps touching all sectors with positive effects on all inhabitants across the nooks and crannies of the state.
Hon. Muritala Abiodun Oyewumi commended the lawmaker for his ability to work in synergy with Governor Seyi Makinde’s policy of free education, noting that this singular act of the parliamentarian would in a long way assist the parents and students.
Muritala Oyewumi however charged all the public office holders in the council area to ensure they contribute their quotas to education, so as to make Iwajowa; a council area to be proud of.
Those that also lauded lawmaker, on his giant stride were PDP Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Fasola Charity, Iwajowa LG NUT Chairman, Com. Taiwo Adeegbe, ANCOPSS Chairman, ably represented by Mr. Ojuwoni M.O and others respectively.
