The Iwajowa Local Government, Area of Oyo State under the auspices of the Executive Chairman Hon. Muritala Abiodun Oyewumi has started the grading of rural access roads and dredging of rivers at Ogbua and Eleye linking Ofeegun village.
Hon. Oladeinde Kazeem HAMMED, Chief of Staff to the council area, disclosed this in a statement which he personally signed and made available to acrossnigerianews.com
He said, “the Ogbua culvert which had been abandoned for years to create hardships on motorists and other road users was completed yesterday by Iwajowa Local Government Authority for easy access and mobility of farm produces”.
“The grading exercise was also extended from Ofeegun to Iganna road where a larger portion of the road have been damaged by erosion”.
The Chairman also promised that in earnest other affected rural roads and culverts will be attended to with large scale rehabilitations.
