The Executive Chairman of Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Rasaq Bisi Fadiran has sworn in the newly appointed Supervisors and Special Assistants in the council.
This follows the approval of their nominations by the State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters and their consequent swearing in, that was carried out by the Director of Administration and General Services(DAGS), Barr. Olalekan S.A at the LG Secretariat, Iseyin on Monday, 22nd July, 2024.
While congratulating the new local government appointees, Fadiran urged them to see their appointments as a call to serve the people of Iseyin diligently pursuant to his grassroots sustainable development agenda in line with the vision of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Fadiran solicited their loyalty and maximum cooperation with his office, the legislative council and the Career Officers for the much expected restoration and progress to be made in the local government.
Iseyin Council Boss lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for his belief in grassroots development which informs the Governor’s decision to timely release the list of Political Officers being sworn in for administrative tasks to commence in earnest in the council area.
He however appreciated the contributions of PDP leaders and party faithful towards a rancour-free selection of the Supervisors and Special Assistants for the local government.
Earlier, the Head of Local Government Administration(HLGA), Alhaj Taofeek Tunde Olagunju said the purpose of coming together, was to swear in all the Supervisors and Special Assistants.
He showed his heartfelt appreciation to God almighty, Governor Seyi Makinde, party leaders and those who were instrumental to the feasibility of the programme.
The PDP Chairman in Iseyin LG, and party leaders like Alhaji Muraina Shiaba, Hon. Doyin Babalola and others enjoined the new appointees to build smooth synergy with the Council Chairman, the legislative council and careers officers respectively.
They reiterated that, while loyalty, cooperation and mutual understanding are built and sustained, there is every tendency assurance that progress would be attained.
In their vote of thanks, Hon. Solomon Oladipupo(VC/Political Head, Iseyin South LCDA), Hon. Ademola Fadipe(New Supervisor) and Hon. Taofeek Kayode(New SA) thanked God, Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon.Rasaq Fadiran, the legislative council, Career Officers, party leaders, party members and others for support, guide and guard.
The hitch free programme which had the blessing of the three religious leaders, had in attendance of Hon. Rasaq Bisi Fadiran, Hon. Solomon Oladipupo, PDP leaders, the legislative council, Career Officers, party members and well wishers respectively.
