- Presents Letter of Appointment to LCDA Political Head, Solomon Oladipupo
The Executive Chairman, Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Rasaq Bisi Fadiran has harped on synergy
and mutual understanding between the executive and legislative arms.
Equally, he presented letter of appointment to his Vice Chairman and Political Head of Iseyin South, Local Council Development Area, Hon. Solomon Oladipupo.
Fadiran made this known on Friday, 31st May, 2024 at Iseyin LG Secretariat while the newly elected Councillors were being sworn in.
The council boss asked the Political Head to represent him at the LCDA and prayed for his good tenure of office as he set to lead people of the area.
The councilors who were sworn in by the Director of Administration and General Services(DAGS), Barrister Isaac Ademola Adedeji are Hon. Adepoju Mathew Olaniyi(Ward 01), Hon. Opadijo Rasheed Alani(Ward 02), Hon. Gbadegesin Muraina Kolade(Ward 03), Hon. Ajibola Rahmon Adeyinka(Ward 04), Hon. Adekunle Basira Adenike(Ward 05) and Hon. Saminu Kehinde Adeyemi(Ward 06).
Others are Hon. Azeez Sulaimon Adeyemi(Ward O7), Hon. Basiru Yusuff Adeyemi(Ward 08), Hon. Ogundairo Mojeed Ajasa(Ward 09), Hon. Komolafe Elizabeth Titilope(Ward 10) and Hon. Hammed Biliaminu Kayode(Ward 11) respectively.
The LG Boss, Fadiran who signed and presented the oaths of office to them, maintained that attainment of synergy, collaboration and mutual understanding between the two arms would unequivocally move the local government from where it is, to the greater heights.
He charged them to be good ambassadors of their respective wards and tasked to work in tandem with purpose through which they were elected.
Fadiran however called on party members and community at large not to put undue pressure and unnecessary demand on them, as they just came on board to serve the good people of the local government.
Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha, the ex State Chairman of People’s Democratic Party(PDP) and party leader in the Local Government justified the importance of lawmakers in every Democratic setting and however called on the newly inaugurated Councillors to work in line with the confidence which their constituents reposed in them.
In his words of advice, the immediate former chairman of the local government, Hon. Muftau Abilawon charged the Councillors to work legislatively and however extended appreciation to people over unwavering support that yielded his successful completion of tenure.
The epoch making occasion had in attendance of the Vice Chairman and Political Head, Iseyin South LCDA,Hon. Solomon Oladipupo, Hon. Mrs Khadijat Fadiran(First Lady), Mrs Deborah Oladipupo( Vice Chairman’s Wife) PDP leaders, elders, party members, youth wings and women leaders.
Also in attendance were the career officers led by Head of Local Government Administration(HLGA), Alhaji Tunde Taofeek Olagunju, DAGS, Barr. Isaac Ademola Adedeji, DDAGS, Mr Salako, Information Officer for the local government, and others.
The Ikolaba of Iseyinland, High Chief Ismail Tikalosoro stood in gap for the Aseyin, Oba Sefiu Oyeboola, and the Baales were also in attendance.
The religious leaders, whose names include Chief Imam Abdul Akeem Olajori(Chief Imam of Iseyinland), Senior Apostle Ogundairo S.A( CAN Chairman) and Chief Olusoji Adeyemi Fasola(Traditionalist) offered prayers for their success.
