Makes Provisions For APC, Women in Farming, Baale Agbe-in-Council, Park Managers, Others
Member of the House of Representatives, representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Hon. Najeemdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji has flagged off the distribution of second phase of fertilizers to the constituents across the four local governments.
It would be recalled that the first phase of fertilizers’ distribution commenced in Iseyin Local Government, where the constituents across the four local governments were considered.
The distribution of second phase of fertilisers, where members of PDP, members of APC, AFAN, Women in Farming, Baale Agbe-in-Council, Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), League of Imams, Park Managers and others across the four local governments, were the beneficiaries took place on Monday, 26th August, at the Secretariat, Kajola Local Government, Area of the State.
According to statistics for the distribution of fertilizers by PDP Chairman in Kajola Local Government, Hon. Johnson Ojebiyi, PDP across the four local governments benefited 100 bags, All Progressive Congress(APC), across the Federal Constituency got 20 bags, AFAN 12 bags, Women in Farming 16 bags, Baale Agbe -in-Council 20 bags, CAN 8 bags, League of Imams 8 bags, Park Managers 8 bags and others respectively.
Hon. Johnson Ojebiyi who stood in gap for the Lawmaker, disclosed that the distribution of fertilizers to the constituents was in line with Hon. Najeemdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji’s fulfilment of promise made during the electioneering campaign.
He maintained that the Federal Parliamentarian had initially pledged to prioritize agriculture in order to increase agricultural produce, with the basic aim of ending hunger and starvation.
Ojebiyi charged all beneficiaries to make judicious use of the fertilizers, so that the purpose that warranted the distribution would be attained.
He however lauded OSHINE on erection of solar lights, award of scholarships, construction of school buildings, toilets and others across the Federal Constituency.
The Executive Chairman, Kajola Local Government, Hon. Akeem Olawale Mustapha commended Lawmaker for giving priority to agriculture, in order to encourage farmers across the Federal Constituency.
He, on behalf of the council chairmen in the four local governments showered encomiums on the benefactor for coming up with the initiative at this material time.
