The Iseyin traditional council, in Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo State has been plunged into mourning following the dead High Chief Raheem Adelodun, the Bashorun of Iseyinland.
Adelodun, the Bashorun of Iseyinland, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 after a brief illness.
The news medium cannot verify what sent him to journey of no return the chief but source who spoke to this publication said he was battling with unknown ailment.
Adelodun’s reign as the second-in-command spanned through four monarchs. Until his death, he was the arguably oldest Chief at the Aseyin council.
A powerful figure, his death came barely one month of the coronation of the new Aseyin of Iseyinland, Oba Sefiu Oyebola Adeyeri III.
