During the Senator Alleluyah Vanguard PDP Quarterly General Meeting held at the Palace Square, Iganna, Iwajowa Local Government Area of Oyo State on Monday, a significant appeal was made to Governor Seyi Makinde regarding critical infrastructure in Kajola and Iwajowa local government areas.


While commending Governor Makinde on his sixth year anniversary in office and lauding his administration’s unprecedented infrastructural developments across Oyo State, Honourable Ogunsola Anthony, a Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, who is representing Iwajowa State Constituency used the platform to highlight pressing road needs in his constituency.
In a direct and passionate appeal to the state government, Hon. Ogunsola called for the urgent fixing of the road linking Kajola and Iwajowa local governments. He specifically pointed to the stretch from Okeho-Ilero to Iganna-Iwere Ile, which serves as the headquarters of Iwajowa local government. Additionally, he appealed for the swift completion of the Ijio-Ayegun Wasinmi border road.
Earlier in the meeting, key party figures, including former Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola Alleluyah and Honourable Ogunsola Anthony, had praised members for their steadfastness and dedication to the party’s progress.
Senator Agboola commended members for their unwavering loyalty and resilience, while Hon. Ogunsola also expressed appreciation to party members for their commitment and reiterated his personal pledge to fulfill election promises.
The meeting concluded with prayers for the continued success of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.
Other prominent personalities in attendance included the immediate former Iwajowa LG Chairman, Alh. Abdul Jelili Oyinloye, Alhja Saka Ganiya, former LG councillors, party executives, and members from across the local government.
