The Oke-Ogun Patriots, a socio-political group, have scheduled a crucial sensitization program for Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the House of Chiefs, Secretariat, Ibadan.

The event, organized by Ẹgbẹ́ Àjọṣepọ̀ Fún Ìtẹsiwáju Gbogbo Wa (Association for the Progress of All), aims to unite the people of the Okeogun region and empower them to collectively influence the future of both Okeogun and Oyo State for attainment of gubernatorial aspiration come 2027 political dispensation.
The program is set to run from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing a full day for discussions and strategic planning. According to a statement released by the group, the event is a pivotal moment for the communities to come together and ensure their voices are heard on matters of regional and state development.
“This is our moment to unite, speak with one voice, and shape the future of Okeogun and Oyo State,” read the announcement, signed by Engr. Dauda Olaifa Alade, the National Chairman, and Pst. Favour Adewoyin, the National Secretary. The leaders stressed that attendance is not merely optional but a civic duty for all patriots committed to the progress of the region.
The sensitization programme is expected to draw a large crowd of stakeholders, community leaders, and concerned citizens from across the Oke-Ogun zone.
The organizers hope that the outcome of the meeting will lead to a more coordinated and effective approach to addressing the socio-economic and political challenges facing the region.
