As part of his thanksgiving for a remarkable one year on the throne of his forefathers, Aseyin of Iseyinland, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III, Ajirotutu the first has held a crucial meeting with residents of Koso Community assuring them of his sustainable dedication to meeting the needs of people in the area.
The meeting that was held at a popular event center in Koso Community had in attendance residents of Koso, Malete, Ilado and Sagbo led by all the chiefs in the quarters.
In his address at the meeting, Aseyin identified the reason to have embarked on the crucial meetings with people in different quarters of Iseyin starting with Koso so that he can identify. challenges facing the communities with intention of proffering solutions to them in tandem with his third cardinal agenda of prosperity for Iseyinland.
Ajirotutu lauded the good people of the quarters under Koso for their unrelenting support for Aseyin towards ensuring peace, unity and prosperity of Iseyinland.
Prominent among the requests put forward by Koso Community before Aseyin is an assistance of His Royal Majesty in the area of elevation of Chiefs from the quarters into the status of Kingmakers in Iseyinland.
Speaking through Dr. Akin Adeoti, Koso Community also urged Aseyin Ajirotutu never to relent in the struggle to become an Imperial Majesty and so be at par with his contemporaries in Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs.
“Kabiesi, we want to appeal that you begin the process necessary for such exalted position without any delay because it is long overdue,” Dr. Adeoti hinted.
Among the personalities in the entourage of Aseyin were: Ikolaba of Iseyin, High Chief Ismail Omotosho Odubiyi, Otun of Iseyin, Ekerin of Iseyin, Parakoyi of Iseyin, Ekarun of Iseyin, Baale Koso of Iseyin, Jagunmolu of Iseyin, Prince Mukaila Oyebola, Prince Waheed Diekola among others.
