Adeyemo Jacob Akinrinade, Former Hon Councillor for ward 02 (igbojaye) and a chieftain of APC in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State has released a heartfelt statement reflecting on his life, impact, and enduring legacy. Dr. Ogunsola, who slept in the Lord on May 18th, 2024, continues to be deeply missed by Akinrinade and other loved ones.

In a statement to acrossnigerianews.com by a former Honourable Councillor for Ward 02 (Igbojaye) and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State, Akinrinade expressed that “not even time can snatch the memories they built with their patriarch” .He noted that the past year has passed swiftly, yet the pain of his absence remains palpable.
The statement highlighted Dr. Ogunsola’s strong desire for family unity, his emphasis on love, and his encouragement for his family to be strong and spiritually grounded. Igbojaye-born politician expressed gratitude for the life he lived, the positive impact he made on those around him, and the lasting legacies and cherished memories he left behind.
Acknowledging the profound difficulty of coping with his loss, Akinrinade conveyed his belief that Dr. Ogunsola is now in a better place, stating that “heaven gained to have an Angel like you sitting at the bosom of our heavenly father.” He poignantly added, “We really miss you, our dear father.”

Finally, he extended sincere appreciation to everyone who offered support during the period of grief. “My sincere appreciation goes to everyone who stood by us during the trying period. God bless you all!”

Akinrinade not only but also lauded the wife of the late Octogenarian, Mrs C Ogunsola and her daughter, Miss Bunmi Ogunsola for the courage, persistent faith and submission to God’s words on thier Patriarch’s demise.
