In a renewed effort to deepen biblical knowledge, promote spiritual discipline, and foster unity among Christian youths, the Ọmọ Aṣoore Foundation, in collaboration with Kajola Youth Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has officially announced the commencement of the 2025 Bible Quiz Competition for Christian Youths in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The faith-based intellectual contest, which is designed to encourage scriptural study and healthy Christian engagement among young people, will be held in two stages. The first stage of the competition is scheduled for Sunday, December 21, 2025, while the grand finale will take place on January 4, 2026.
According to the organisers, this year’s edition of the Bible Quiz will focus exclusively on the Book of Nehemiah (New International Version – NIV). The book, widely regarded as a profound biblical account on leadership, obedience, courage, sacrifice, and the rebuilding of God’s kingdom, was carefully selected to inspire youths to embrace responsibility, integrity, and service both within the church and the larger society.
The maiden stage of the competition will hold at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Ogan, Okeho, with activities commencing by 2:00pm prompt. Further details regarding the venue and time for the grand finale will be communicated to all participating churches in due course.
In a statement jointly issued by the organisers, each church within Kajola Local Government Area is expected to present one candidate to represent their congregation in the competition. The organisers stressed that the quiz is not only a test of knowledge but also a platform for spiritual growth, interaction, and the discovery of exceptional talents among Christian youths.
“The Bible Quiz Competition is a deliberate investment in the spiritual and intellectual development of our youths. It is aimed at strengthening their understanding of God’s Word, fostering unity among denominations, and encouraging active participation in church and community development,” the statement read.
The Ọmọ Aṣoore Foundation reiterated its unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, moral uprightness, and the promotion of Christian values, noting that initiatives of this nature are part of its broader vision to build a faith-driven, disciplined, and progressive society.
