Okeho Day 2025: Indigenes Show Enthusiasm as Celebration Commences With Church Service, Community-Wide Cleaning Exercise
The ancient town of Okeho came alive on Sunday as residents, illustrious sons and daughters, community leaders, cultural stakeholders, and well-wishers demonstrated overwhelming enthusiasm for the commencement of the 2025 Okeho Day Celebration. This year’s edition began with a solemn yet spirited thanksgiving service, followed by Monday’s massive community sanitation exercise that reinforced the town’s collective resolve to promote unity, progress, and environmental cleanliness.
Held at various worship centres across Okeho, the church services marked the formal opening of the week-long celebration. Clergymen offered special prayers for the peace, prosperity, and continued development of the town.
