The Onidiko of Idiko-Ile, in Iwajowa Local Government, Area of Oyo State, HRM Oba Nicolas Oyelami Folaranmi Aninnku II has extended appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde on the construction and reconstruction of Idiko-Ile/Ijio road.
Equally, the Monarch lauded Ijio-born Legal Luminary and former Oyo Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Barrister John Adeniyi Farinto on his concerted efforts and patriotic struggle that culminated in making the road motorable.

The Monarch maintained that he would not hesitate to extend his appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for his firm stance to make Idiko-Ile/Ijio road motorable.
He added that this singular act of Gov Makinde to make the road motorable, has unequivocally solved problems and challenges associated with transportation system, which the communities have been battling with for so many years.
Oba Folaranmi noted that the people of the communities could not hide their joy, as they are able to bring produce of their farms to towns and cities without stress.
He appealed to the Governor not to stop the road at Ijio, adding that its commencement and completion of Face2 to Border would make it accessible for both Nigerians and people of other countries.
The Monarch prayed God to be with the Governor and watch over him till the end of his administration and beyond.
In another vein, Oba Folaranmi showered encomiums on Barrister John Adeniyi Farinto for his patriotic efforts to make the road motorable.
The Monarch noted that the ex-Member of Oyo State House of Assembly, and former Chairman of Iwajowa Local Government had proved to be a notable, dependable, patriotic son of the soil who ensured that his kinsmen also entitled to good road.
He prayed God almighty to guide, guard and make whatever he lays his hands upon prosperous and successful.
