The Oyo State Government has announced the commencement of the Nigerian Army’s 90 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) exercise for trades and non-trades men and women.

According to a public service announcement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Professor Olanike Adeyemo, the online application portal officially opened on September 29, 2025, and will close on November 14, 2025.
The application form, which is free of charge, is accessible on the official recruitment website: https://recruitment.army.mil.ng.
All applications will undergo an initial online screening process before shortlisted candidates are invited for physical screening at the State Recruitment Centre, Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ojoo, Odogbo, Ibadan.
The statement emphasized that interested applicants of Oyo State origin must obtain an Oyo State Indigeneship Certificate from Room 53, Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan, or at the state liaison offices in Abuja and Lagos, to validate their eligibility.
Professor Adeyemo urged qualified male and female indigenes of the state to seize the opportunity, noting that the recruitment exercise is part of the Nigerian Army’s efforts to strengthen its manpower base.
The announcement further appealed to community leaders, media organizations, and residents to help disseminate the information widely so that eligible Oyo State indigenes are adequately informed and can participate in the exercise.
