The Nigerian Army has officially commenced online applications for its 89 Regular Recruits Intake, welcoming both tradesmen/women and non-tradesmen/women. The application window opened on March 31st and will close on Saturday, May 17th, 2025.

The application form is provided free of charge and can be accessed online via the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal: https://recruitment.army.mil.ng.

Following the online application phase, all submissions will undergo thorough online screening. Successful applicants will be shortlisted and subsequently invited to participate in a physical screening exercise. For indigenes of Oyo State, this exercise will be held at the State Recruitment Center, Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Odogbo, Ibadan, Oyo State.

In a statement released by the Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo, interested male and female indigenes of Oyo State are strongly advised to obtain their Oyo State Indigeneship Certificate. This crucial document can be acquired at Room 53, Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan, as well as the state’s Liaison Offices in Abuja and Lagos. This step is necessary to confirm their status as bonafide candidates of Oyo State origin.

Professor Adeyemo urged the public to disseminate this vital information to all eligible indigenes of Oyo State, emphasizing the approaching deadline of Saturday, May 17th, 2025.
