The newly elected Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Moses Ojesanmi, has extended deep appreciation to God, party leaders, stakeholders, women, youths, and the general membership of the party for the overwhelming support that led to his emergence.

Ojesanmi, who spoke in a statement made available to acrossnigerianews.com on Sunday, September 21, described his election as a privilege and a divine responsibility.
He noted that the firm support from all quarters of the party, particularly at the grassroots, was instrumental in ensuring his victory during the local government congress.
The PDP congress, which produced Ojesanmi and other executive members, was held at LA Basic School, Òkehò. The exercise was conducted under the supervision of Mr. M.A. Salau, who served as the Electoral Officer. Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies were also on ground to monitor proceedings, ensuring transparency and orderliness.
In his remarks, Ojesanmi expressed profound gratitude to God for granting him the opportunity to serve, while praying for wisdom, sound health, and divine guidance to pilot the affairs of the party.
He further acknowledged the invaluable role of party leaders, women, and youths across the eleven wards of Kajola Local Government, stressing that their steadfast support and commitment were pivotal to his success.
“My emergence as Chairman is not about me alone, but about the collective will of the people. I sincerely appreciate everyone who stood firm for the progress of our great party,” he said.

Looking ahead, Ojesanmi pledged to run an open and inclusive leadership. He promised to work harmoniously with fellow executive members, while also reaching out to aggrieved individuals to foster reconciliation and strengthen unity within the party.
He emphasized that, his doors would remain open for advice, collaboration, and constructive engagement from all members, with the ultimate goal of repositioning PDP in Kajola Local Government as a formidable political force.
“Our strength lies in unity, and I am committed to building bridges, mending fences, and ensuring that no one feels left out in this new chapter of our party’s journey,” Ojesanmi affirmed.
With his emergence, stakeholders in Kajola PDP are optimistic that the new leadership will chart a course of inclusiveness, renewed vibrancy, and progress as preparations for future political engagements gather momentum.
