The entire members of Oyo State, Ex- Progressive Parliamentarians have expressed shock and sadness over the death of former Majority Leader, 7th Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oyeniyi Oyeniran popularly called ‘KÒSÍGÌRÎ.

Members of Oyo State Ex Progressive Parliamentarians on Monday, 16th September, paid condolence visit to the widow and family members of the late Oyo Lawmaker at his residence in Odo Oba-Elere in Ibadan SouthEast Local Government Area.
The delegation that was led by Chairman, Hon. Bolomope Ibrahim, also included Hon. Akin Alli(Secretary), Hon. Subair Kehinde, Hon. Fajimi Sakirulahi, Hon. Fatai Salam(Chairman, Parliamentary Caucus) and Hon. Olaleye Segun Radical respectively.
Late Hon. Oyeniyi Oyeniran Kòsígìrì was a former Majority Leader, 7th Oyo Assembly between 2011-2015 political dispensation.
In their tribute, late Kòsígìrì was a cooled headed and staunch progressive minded Lawmaker who was in the house during late Governor Abiola Ajumobi’s first tenure.
He was described as a core progressive man, 100 Percent Lamist and party man who wholeheartedly believed in Awolowo’s ideology.
They lamented that Kòsígìrì left while his contributions would still be needed in Progressive fold, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
The Forum commiserated with the widow, family members, APC family, and people of Odo Oba-Elere in Ibadan SouthEast Local Government Area.
They prayed God almighty grant him eternal rest and as well provide family with the succour to bear the painful loss.
