The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of FGN Power Company Limited and former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Kola Olabiyi, has congratulated Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli and Dr. Ademola Alli on their successful completion of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Leadership and Strategic Studies at the prestigious Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State.

In a statement personally signed and made available to acrossnigerianews.com on Saturday, October 18, Hon. Olabiyi described their academic attainment as an outstanding demonstration of discipline, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to personal and professional excellence.

According to the Okaka-born financial expert and politician, the duo’s success is not only a personal milestone but also an inspiration to aspiring leaders across Nigeria, particularly the younger generation who look up to them for guidance and motivation.

He noted that Senator Sharafadeen Alli, a distinguished lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District, has consistently exemplified visionary leadership and intellectual depth in both public service and private life. Hon. Olabiyi added that the senator’s decision to pursue advanced academic studies, despite his demanding legislative duties, underscores his belief in continuous learning as a tool for effective governance and societal advancement.

Speaking further, the former lawmaker also commended Dr. Ademola Alli as a fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a retired Director of Finance in the Federal Ministry of Defence, for his remarkable determination and dedication to scholarly excellence, describing him as a model of perseverance and focus. He emphasized that completing a PhD, especially in such a strategic field, reflects uncommon commitment and a desire to contribute meaningfully to national development.

Hon. Olabiyi expressed optimism that the knowledge and insights acquired through their studies will further enhance their capacity to make sound policy decisions, provide visionary leadership, and contribute to Nigeria’s growth and transformation.

“Both Senator Alli and Dr. Ademola Alli have proven that learning never stops and that leadership, when backed by knowledge, becomes a powerful instrument for positive change,” Olabiyi stated.

He, therefore, prayed for their continued success and greater accomplishments in their respective endeavours, urging them to remain shining examples of purposeful leadership, academic excellence, and service to humanity.
