The Chief Financial Officer of the Power Company Limited of Nigeria and former federal lawmaker, Hon. Kola Olabiyi, has extended warm felicitations to the Agbaakin Parakoyi of Ibadanland and the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, popularly known as ‘Penkelemesi’, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement made available to acrossnigerianews.com, Olabiyi described Adelabu as a man of vision, courage, and service whose life and career have left indelible marks in banking, business, and public leadership.
According to him, Chief Adelabu’s journey from the banking halls, where he distinguished himself as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), to his strides in politics and community development, reflects uncommon dedication and capacity for leadership.
“Today, we celebrate not just a birthday but a man who has touched lives across Oyo State with generosity, wisdom, and purposeful leadership,” Olabiyi stated.
Looking ahead to the 2027 elections, Olabiyi expressed confidence that Adelabu is best positioned to steer Oyo State towards greater heights, citing his blend of professional experience, youthful energy, and visionary outlook as qualities needed for effective governance.
“As 2027 approaches, we believe it is time for Oyo State to embrace a leader who combines experience, energy, and vision. Chief Adelabu is the man to take Oyo to greater heights,” he declared.
He further prayed for more years of service, impact, and victory for Adelabu, describing him as the beacon of hope for Oyo’s political and economic future.
“Oyo State’s future is bright and with your leadership, Chief, 2027 will mark a new dawn,” the statement concluded.
