Coalition of Kajola Media Organisations in Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State had on Friday, 9th August met with Hon. Musbau Akintola Azeez(ACTION), the lawmaker representing the State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The meeting which was summoned at the instance of effective representation and positive returns to the constituency, held in Okeho, the headquarters of the council area, where the publishers of Okeho News, acrossnigerianews.com and Olofin Radio were in attendance.
In their discussion, the Media Organisations thanked the Lawmaker on what he has done and however tasked him to dwell more on attainment of effective representation that would orchestrate more dividends of democracy and general positive returns to the constituency.
The news Media Outfits harped importantly on sponsorship of bills and motions which are needed for the progress and development of the state constituency.
They equally admonished the Okeho-born lawmaker to prioritise the welfare and benefits of the constituents, without minding political affiliations, religions and other dichotomies.
While responding, ACTION expressed his delight to the publishers of the respective media organisations for their initiative to remain under a solid umbrella body.
He however charged them to work and operate in tandem with the ethical and legal limitations that guide the profession of journalism.
On his current legislative assignment, ACTION maintained that, what he has done was just a tip of iceberg compared to what he has in stock for the constituents.
He called for synergy and mutual understanding between him and Kajola Media Organisations, so that they would collectively move Kajola Local Government from where it is now, to the next level.
