In readiness to give accounts of stewardship to his people, the Executive Chairman, Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Ojo Monsuru Olayemi has unveiled the attained score cards in the last six months of assumption of office.

Among areas which his achievements have covered are security, road, environment, water and education respectively.
In his explanation, Olayemi revealed that he has constructed a beffiting office waiting for commissioning, for the Western Nigeria Security Network codenamed Operation Amotekun, hinting that the attainment of this feat is to ensure that the security is prioritised in the council area in order to guarantee the safety of lives and properties.
Also, the Council Boss expatiated that he has ensured procurement of uniforms for all corps of Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) in Itesiwaju Local Government, adding that this, is to make sure that they all appear in good appearances in order to maintain their confidence and readiness to appear anywhere as the need arises.
He however noted that, VGN has not been officially integrated into system by government, despite the fact that it has been in existence for the last ten(10) years, pledging that he has been expediting action to ensure that they are being recognised by Oyo State Government.
He disclosed that, he has not forgotten the area of road network, as grading of all roads across the local government is essential to movement of farm produce and free movement of motorists, motorcyclists and pedestrians respectively.
As cleanliness is next to godliness, he maintained that he has swung into action on environmental sanitation of all metropolis making the council area, revealing that the condition he met all communities when he came on board was not pleasant.
Olayemi said, he tasked all environmental officers in the council area to treat all wells in the communities, so as to ensure that water available to people is odourless and tasteless for drinking.
On area of education, the Council Chairman said he acknowledged the dilapidated structures of schools across the council area and had taken progressive steps to ensure that all schools are in a good state to accommodate the new, stale teachers, pupils and students at both primary and secondary schools.
He showered encomiums on Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering support and guidance that propel his continued delivery of good governance to the good people of Itesiwaju Local Government.
He noted that, all areas of achievements brought to the council area are true replica of the Governor’s agenda and blueprints for the development of Oyo State.
Olayemi prayed God almighty to continue guiding, guarding and providing the Governor with more wisdom, knowledge and skills to pilot the affairs of Pacesetter State.
