A young philanthropist and illustrious son of Iseyin, Mr. Awogbemileke Èjìré, popularly known as ‘Èjìré Omo Owó’, has continued to garner admiration across Iseyinland following his commendable contribution to community development through the fencing of the Nigeria Police Force Area Command’s permanent office site located at Adugbe along the Iseyin–Ogbomoso road.

The laudable project, which covers nearly one acre of land, is aimed at providing security, structural detailing and proper boundary demarcation for the station, which plays a critical role in maintaining law and order across Iseyin and Itesiwaju axis of Oyo State. The fencing project is currently nearing completion and has been widely acknowledged as a gesture of true patriotism and selfless commitment to the progress of the community.
Speaking on the development, a respected community stakeholder and kinsman of the donor, Alhaji Aremo Sulaiman, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Corner Peace Hotel, described Mr. Èjìré Omo Owó as a young man with a rare heart for community development and humane interventions.
In his words, “Èjìré Omo Owó has consistently proven that philanthropy is not a function of age but of intention. He is a young man with an uncommon spirit of generosity. His decision to fence the Iseyin Area Command site is not just a gift to the police; it is a gift to the safety of our people and the future of Iseyin.”
Aremo Sulaiman further noted that the project will not only improve the aesthetic value of the facility but also enhance its operational security, thereby providing a more conducive environment for police officers discharging their duties. He emphasized that such interventions are crucial, considering the strategic importance of the Iseyin Area Command in addressing emerging security concerns within the zone.
A visit to the project site by acrossnigerianews.com confirmed that construction work is ongoing with substantial progress already recorded. The massive land size fenced further highlights the financial weight and level of commitment invested in the project by the young philanthropist.
Residents, community leaders and security stakeholders in Iseyin have continued to applaud the gesture, describing it as timely, thoughtful, and reflective of a renewed spirit of communal responsibility. Many called on other well-meaning indigenes and officeholders to emulate the selfless contribution of Èjìré Omo Owó by identifying pressing community needs and offering meaningful assistance where required.
The gesture, they noted, reinforces the long-standing tradition of Iseyin sons and daughters contributing to the growth, unity, and collective progress of the ancient town.
