With a view to cushioning the effects of current hardship and put smiles on faces of women, wife of Iseyin Local Government’s Chairman, Mrs Fadiran Taiwo Yemisi has presented cash gifts to about sixty women across the council area.
The presentation of cash sealed in envelopes to women took place on Wednesday, 25th September, at the Secretariat Complex, where all the beneficiaries and others were in attendance.
The beneficiaries of the cash gifts were selected from each of the eleven wards, that make Iseyin Local Government.
While speaking on purpose of financial gesture, Mrs Fadiran Taiwo Yemisi disclosed that, the cash gifts that were given to women aimed at cushioning the effects of current hardship.
Mrs Fadiran added that the financial gesture was also to identify with women whose roles to home development should be eulogised and assisted with both cash and kind.
She however promised, that Hon. Rasaq Bisi Fadiran led administration at the council area would never forget women and their rights in his government.
While showing appreciation, Ipadeola Sharafa, one of the beneficiaries thanked the first lady for her resolve to extend such financial services to them, describing her as a woman of substance who cares for women.
Another beneficiary, Jamiu Grace also lauded Mrs Fadiran for her firm belief in women, noting that this singular act of generosity characterised her as a woman of noble heart.
