The grand finale of Isemi-ile day 2023 will hold on Saturday, November 4 at Baptist Basic School, Isemi-ile, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State.
The programme that is aimed at launching of Two Hundred Million Naira(N200, 000,000) for the development of ancient town had earlier begun with schedule of events.
Mr Adetoro Ouwole, Publicity Secretary for the Planning Committee disclosed this while speaking with the crew of acrossnigerianews.com in Isemi-ile.
He said,the programme’s schedule of events ended today with Special Friday prayer at the central mosque, Oja-Oba and other central mosques after jumat services.
He added that the schedule of events had earlier begun on Sunday, October 29 with special Sunday prayer at first church and other churches after devotion services.
Oluwole also revealed that, Monday, October 30 featured local drama at the play ground of Baptist Basic School, Isemi-ile, while Tuesday, October 31 was filled with quiz competition and debate, which took place at both basic schools and Grammar School of the ancient town.
He hinted that the final football competition took place on Wednesday, November 1st at Baptist Basic School, while Onitinrin FC defeated Kelebe FC on penalty shootout.
Oluwole said, visitation to the ancestral origin which came up on Thursday, November 2nd was an endurance trek and memorable tour, which would linger in memories.
He said, it was glory to God almighty that the schedule of events started on a good note and today ended with Jumat service, adding that tomorrow which is grand finale will feature people of influence across Oyo State and beyond.
He prayed God to grant all attendees journey mercy and make the programme an hitch free one.
