As activities marking the 2025 Okeho Day draw to a colourful close today, 29th November, Ilua Parapo Home and Abroad has extended warm felicitations to all sons, daughters, and residents of Okeho for a successful and memorable celebration.

In a statement issued and made available to acrossnigerianews.com, the Forum’s Chairman, Alhaji Isiaq Olalekan, expressed profound joy at the spirit of unity and cultural pride demonstrated throughout the week-long festivities. He noted that this year’s edition stood out as a unique and remarkable convergence, bringing together indigenes—both at home and in the diaspora—many of whom had not seen one another for several years.
Alhaji Olalekan described Okeho Day 2025 as not just a celebration of heritage, but a catalyst for renewed commitment to community development. He affirmed that the programme would, without doubt, contribute significantly to the socio-economic growth of Okeho and its adjoining communities, as it serves as a rallying point for collective engagement and long-term progress.
The Forum extended special greetings to the Onjo of Okeho, His Royal Majesty Oba Rafiu Osuolale Mustapha; the Central Planning Committee; Ègbé Omo-Ibile Òkehò led by Dr. Kasali Salawu; Apero Omo Òkehò; the Okeho Indigenous Youth Association; and all groups and stakeholders who played vital roles in ensuring the success of the celebration.

Ilua Parapo Home and Abroad also commended the entire indigenes and residents for their active participation, describing their unity and enthusiasm as a testament to Okeho’s collective resilience and shared vision for development.
