Mr Quadri Abdul-Fatai, the Registrar, Impressive College of Nursing Sciences(ICONS), Okeho, Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State has assured intending applicants, students, guardians, parents and other members of public that the academic institution has come to stay.
The Registrar, in an exclusive interaction with Khalid Imran, Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, acrossnigerianews.com spoke against doubting thomas and mischievous makers who opined that the school is operating on fraudulent tendencies.
Abdul Fatai noted that, there is no doubt about the fact that, the academic institution is currently operating in rented buildings located at KM 1, Moshra Garden, along Iseyin road, Okeho, the headquarters of the council area.
He maintained that, running an academic institution like College of Nursing Sciences can’t be possible without involvement and endorsement of education boards and stakeholders, who are to state guides, ways and procedures through which its effectiveness and efficiency would be attained.
Abdul-Fatai said, the school is operating in temporary buildings, but in a permanent site where construction of building structures is in progress to ensure the school’s stability, reliability and sustainability.
He added that, the ongoing projects have covered all areas that would make attainment of sound and qualitative education achievable by the students.
Abdul-Fatai affirned that the school is in a serene environment where students’ acquisition of knowledge can’t be distracted by mechanical noises, and all other disturbances to academic perfection.
He spoke extensively on availability of sound-minded members of academic and administrative staff, who are designated to ensure that things work in line with guided procedures for academic effectiveness.
He encouraged members of public not to mind the nay sayers who appear as detractors and conspirators spreading falsehood and propaganda about the school.
On admission’s preparation for 2024/2025 academic session, he revealed that concerted efforts and struggles are being made to ensure that the academic activities take off and operate in tandem with calendar guiding the smooth running of the academic institution.
