In a show of unity and political camaraderie, the Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North Local Government paid a courtesy and celebratory visit to the President of Providence Coalition, Prince Niran Adeyoju (popularly known as SDM), for his birthday.
The visit, which took place at Prince Adeyoju’s Tavern Hotel in Ibadan, was not only to celebrate his new age but also to recognize his unwavering support for grassroots politics and his pivotal role in strengthening political alliances within the APC structure in Oyo State.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, one of the leading Chairmanship candidates commended Prince Adeyoju for his tireless efforts in mentoring young politicians and galvanizing support for APC at the ward, local government and state levels.
He described the Providence Coalition President as a “pillar of progressive politics and a beacon of hope for emerging leaders.”
“Our visit today is not just about celebrating a respected leader’s birthday. It is also to acknowledge the fatherly role Prince Adeyoju plays in our political journey,” the candidate said.
Prince Niran Adeyoju, visibly moved by the visit, expressed gratitude to the APC candidates for their thoughtful gesture.
