A member of the House of Representatives, representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Hon.Oyeshina Oyedeji has promised to continue extending dividends of democracy to his party(PDP) and opposition parties, despite political differences.
Oshine who is at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly on a platform of PDP, made this pledge during Ramadan Lecture and Iftar, which he organised for the Muslim Constituents on Sunday, 7th April at his country home, Ipamo Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State.
Okeho-born Parliamentarian maintained that he needs to continue maintaining statusquo on extension of the dividends of democracy to the party which brought him to power and all opposition parties across the federal constituency, noting that he belongs to all having won the election.
He said, he needed to ensure governance of inclusiveness to all, because governance isn’t restricted to party alone after election had been won.
Oshine said that, he shall continue to give the needed consideration to PDP in the scheme of things connecting with the dividends of democracy, but he would never jettison opposition parties, when it comes to benefits entitled to them.
He promised to continue working in tandem with attainment of effective representation, passage of useful bills/motions and oversight functions, that would be beneficial to all constituents across the federal constituency.
He however used the avenue to show appreciation to people over unflinching support that eventually culminated into victory, guaranteeing his current seat at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.
He said, he would place his representation on fear of Allah, acknowledging that he would give total accounts of his deed on a day of judgment.
He added that, he shall not hesitate to be tolerant in carrying all adherents of the two notable religions along in his readiness to represent the constituents.
On Constituency allowance and allocation of Federal Jobs, the Federal Parliamentarian countered the rumour on disbursement of constituency allowance, and however pledged to be fair and just whenever he is given the jobs for the constituents.
The epoch making occasion featured the delivery of lecture, while Usatdh Adam Awayewasere did justice in his eloquence and mastery of the topic to the audience.
Comrade Sulaiman Salaudeen, informed the audience on purpose of gathering, while all in attendance listened with rapt attention.
The special prayer was said by Chief Imam, Qamorul Islam Ayetoro-Oke, Alhaji Sheikh Maruf Shittu and Ustadh Rasheed Owoiya.
The occasion where adherents of Islam broke their fast, also had in attendance of the Islamic clerics, notable figures, PDP stakeholders, members and other public among others.
