Grassroots Power Play: Omo Asoore Officially Declares for 2027 Oyo State House of Assembly, Unveils Multi-Million-Naira Empowerment Agenda
The political atmosphere in Kajola State Constituency was charged with renewed energy on Saturday as a prominent grassroots mobiliser and All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, Hon. Tijani Sakirudeen Adeola, popularly known as Omo Asoore, formally declared his intention to contest the 2027 Oyo State House of Assembly election.

The declaration took place at the APC Kajola Local Government Area monthly meeting, held at Ward 8, Ilua, where party leaders, ward executives, elders, women leaders, and youth representatives converged in large numbers. The event quickly transformed into a massive endorsement rally, with stakeholders unanimously expressing confidence in Omo Asoore’s leadership capacity, credibility, and deep grassroots connection.
Addressing the gathering, party leaders described Hon. Adeola as a dependable party man whose long-standing commitment to the welfare of Kajola people positions him as a credible candidate capable of delivering purposeful representation. Several speakers took turns to commend his consistency, accessibility, and record of service, affirming that Kajola needs a representative who understands the people’s daily struggles and aspirations.
The meeting reported by Asoore Media Team witnessed a rare show of unity, with stakeholders pledging to mobilise support across wards to ensure the APC retains and strengthens its foothold in the constituency come 2027.

In a strongly worded Letter of Intent, Hon. Adeola unveiled his vision for Kajola, which he described as a “New Path” aimed at driving accelerated, inclusive, and people-centred development across the constituency.
According to him, his legislative ambition is anchored on four strategic pillars:
Massive Investment in Education to improve learning outcomes and empower the next generation
Critical Infrastructure Development to enhance connectivity, commerce, and quality of life
Sustainable Empowerment Programmes to stimulate local economic growth
Truly Inclusive Governance that gives voice to women, youths, artisans, and vulnerable groups
He assured party members that his campaign would be issue-driven and people-focused, deliberately avoiding politics of bitterness, personal attacks, or empty rhetoric.
“Kajola deserves leadership that listens, plans, and delivers. My aspiration is not about personal ambition but about creating opportunities and restoring hope to our people,” he stated.
In a move that further endeared him to attendees, Hon. Adeola announced immediate community-focused initiatives that will commence well ahead of the 2027 elections, reinforcing his belief that leadership is about service, not just electoral victory.
Chief among the initiatives is a Multi-Million-Naira Empowerment Programme, currently at an advanced planning stage, targeted at women, artisans, traders, and small-scale business owners. The programme is designed to inject capital, support entrepreneurship, and strengthen grassroots economic activities across Kajola.
He also disclosed plans for an Inter-Denominational Bible Competition, aimed at promoting moral discipline, unity, and spiritual growth among youths within Kajola and its environs.
According to him, societal development must go hand-in-hand with moral values, stressing that economic empowerment without ethical re-orientation would be incomplete.
The meeting ended on a high note, with chants of solidarity and renewed optimism filling the venue. Party faithful described the declaration as a timely intervention that has reinvigorated the APC structure in Kajola State Constituency.
Observers noted that Omo Asoore’s early declaration, combined with his empowerment-driven approach and moral initiatives, has positioned him as a formidable contender and a rallying point for party unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.
