Encomiums have been showered on Lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Oyo State , Hon. Najimdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji over distribution of agro chemicals to farmers across the Federal Constituency.
The heartfelt commendations and gratitude were expressed by agro chemicals’ beneficiaries in Iwere-ile, the headquarters of Iwajowa Local Government on Friday, 6th December, 2024.
Acrossnigerianews.com which covered the event noted that, among the beneficiaries of Oshine’s good gestures, enhanced by Federal Cooperative College, Orji River, Enugu State, were Farmers’ Association, Women in Farming, AFAN, and forty two(42) wards that make the four local governments respectively.
In his welcome address, the Executive Chairman, Iwajowa Local Government, Hon. Oyewumi Muritala Abiodun commended the federal lawmaker for keeping to promise of aiding farmers across the Federal Constituency.
He noted that this singular act of the parliamentarian has justified that he has not forgotten farmers, in his readiness and struggles to assist their farms and boost their produce.
He however called on beneficiaries to make good use of the chemicals for main purpose that orchestrated the distribution.
On purpose of gathering, PDP Chairman in Kajola Local Government, Hon. Johnson Ojebiyi praised Oyeshina Oyedeji for his unwavering commitment and support towards the development of agriculture across the Federal Constituency.
He equally revealed the lawmaker’s previous achievements which had manifested on areas of education, road, ICT, solar energy, youths / women’s empowerments and others respectively, calling on constituents to throw weight behind him whenever he makes himself available for second term’s bid.
Hon. Michael Adegbite, former PDP State Chairman, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Lawmaker over facilitation of multi cartons of agro chemicals to farmers.
He maintained that the Parliamentarian should be commended for upholding sincerity on distribution of the goodies to the constituents.
In their appreciation, Farmers Association, Women in Farming, AFAN and others commended and prayed for his attainment of unprecedented feats on his current legislative assignment and subsequent political engagements.
The programme had in attendance of party chairmen across the four local governments, PDP stakeholders, representatives of Farmers Association, Women in Farming, AFAN, Political functionaries in Iwajowa LG, and others respectively.
