In his resolve to ensure that Christians across Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Oyo State celebrate the festivities of christmas and new year amidst ecstasy and grandeur, Hon. Najimdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji has distributed thousand bags of rice to adherents of Christianity across the four local governments.
The grains provided by Federal Cooperative College, Orji River, Enugu State were on Saturday 7th December distributed to all Christians across the Federal Constituency.
The beneficiaries who had receipt of those bags of rice were members of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Park Managers, Hausa communities, the physically challenged ones, members of APC, the less privileged ones, PDP leaders and local executives across the four local governments.
In his welcome address, Hon. Ojo Monsuru Olayemi, Executive Chairman, Itesiwaju Local Government thanked the federal lawmaker for his resolve to bring back to the constituents.
He described Oshine as a person who knows where shoe pinches the constituents, adding that the grains distributed to constituents was perfect at this material time, that the country is battling with hardship that knows no status.
Ojo Olayemi praised and tasked him to ensure that he does not hesitate to bring more dividends of democracy to all constituents, across the Federal Constituency.
He however called on all adherents of Christianity and most especially youths to ensure that the subsequent celebration of festivities are done moderately and peacefully.
Hon. Muibi Afees, who spoke on behalf of Hon. Ajigbotoso, PDP Chairman in Iseyin Local Government described Hon. Najimdeen Oyedeji as an exceptional parliamentarian whose representation has been quite different from his predecessors in terms of positive returns to the constituents.
Afees noted that, the lawmaker has been keeping to all promises he made during the electioneering campaign, as this has been manifested in all what he has been doing since he came on board as federal parliamentarian for the federal constituency.
As Oliver Twist would request for more, he called on Oshine to get ready to cater for more requests of the constituents, as they would continue to ask for more as he continues to represent them in the green chamber of National Assembly.
Hon. Nurain Akeusola, PDP Vice Chairman in Kajola Local Government, who stood-in-gap for the Chairman, Hon. Johnson Ojebiyi asked the representatives of the grains’ beneficiaries to make sure that the food items get to the target destinations.
Akeusola showered encomiums on Oshine for being man of his words, describing him as a lawmaker who gives priority to welfare and complete wellbeing of the constituents.
He however enjoined people across the Federal Constituency to rise for endorsement of his candidature whenever he seeks for second term and readiness to represent the federal constituency in the National Assembly.
The epoch making occasion had in attendance of Hon. Ojo Monsuru Olayemi, Chairman Itesiwaju LG, Leader of the House in Itesiwaju LG, councillors, members of CAN, Park Managers, PDP stakeholders, members and others respectively.
