The former lawmaker, Hon. Sulaiman Tijani who represented Kajola State Constituency at Oyo State House of Assembly, has brought dignitaries of note together as his daughter, Hikmot Damilola Tijani tied knot with Muhammad Ally Jimoh.
The glamorous event which happened on Saturday, November 11th at Okeho/Iganna Grammar School football pitch had in attendance of the groom’s families, bride’s families, both families’ admirers/friends, political figures, Islamic clerics, Alfas and host of others.
Hikmot Damilola Tijani of Jagun Compound, Isemi-Ile, was via coordination of Alfas and support of parents tied knot with Muhammad Ally Jimoh of Ogan axis of Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State.
In his brief sermon, Sheikh Nurudeen Abdulsalam asked the couple to build solid foundation where pure and sincere love would have enough space to lean on, saying wrongs of each become obvious to each other when there is no love between the duo.
Islamic cleric enjoined the bride to adhere strictly to her husband’s directives and as well protect her dignity and womanhood from illegal access of another men.
Also, he asked the groom to be patient with her wife, stay away from irrational anger and at large follow the words of prophet Muhammad(PBOH) and Qur’an to build his home.
Sheikh Abdulwaheed Asiso,the Chief Missioner of Ansarudeen, Isemi-Ile sought blessing of Allah on the couple and also prayed HIM to bless them with fruits of the womb.
Amir ISBON, Kajola Local Government, Alhaji Mumeen Busair, Alhaji Soliu Olawale, Chief Imam of Ansarul-Islam Okeho and Ustadh Olowo Agbaye, Amir ISBON, Okeho coordinated special prayer for the couple, family members and attendees in general.
The acting chairman, Planning Committee for the wedding(Bride’s side) Hon. Maruf Maradesa gave thanks to God almighty for making the wedding feasible and hitch free.
Also, he extended his warmest appreciation to the political class led by Senator Hosea Ayoola Alleluyyah, Islamic clerics, admirers, friends and others for attending the programme without minding the engagements which could have fetched them bountiful benefits.
Maradesa enjoined the couple to have good understanding of each other and prayed Allah to bless them with mercy, blessing so that their holy union would be meaningful to them.
Mr Bashir Taiwo who spoke of behalf of the groom’s families appreciated the families of both sides for their mutual understanding and cooperation that culminated into success of holy matrimony between Damilola Tijani and Ally Jimoh.
He also expressed his gratitude to all well wishers and general attendees who made the day colourful and glamorous, praying that, things of joy would never cease in their respective abodes.
